Compression Therapy

Recovery is just as important as training itself. If we want optimal performance we need to recover! 

 

Initially a medical grade device, compression boots are now widely used and are part of some athletes programming. 

 

Recovery boots use compressed air to massage your legs, promote circulation and speed recovery.  They feel like a deep pressure, relaxing massage to your legs.

 

Pneumatic compression therapy can:

Improve circulation

Enhance lymphatic drainage

Remove waste products including lactic acid

Improve range of movement and flexibility

Decrease recovery time

Allow your to train harder quicker

Relax and unwind

They also help to minimise rehabilitation time following injury and speed up the recovery process, as well as allowing you to train harder and more often allowing you to maintain peak performance. 

 

You do not need to be an athlete to benefit from compression therapy as they can also help with a number of conditions such as: lymphedema, deep vein thrombosis (DVT) or pulmonary embolism (PE).
